about

Heavy Shtettle Part II: Heavier Shtettle. My good friend, fellow Jew, and former bandmate, Alex Skolnick, always talked about how people always told him he should start a heavy metal hora band called “Heavy Shtettle”. (I prefer Black Shabbas, personally. He is, after all, from the old “Testament”). Anyway, he and I came up with this ditty, and it was first recorded on our live album. The current lineup of the band has re-vamped it in 7/4 and thought we would record the bigger and louder sequel celebrating our Jewish and Metal roots.
